March 7th at exactly 9:00 p.m. Kalyn Cori Christ entered the world after a long and trying delivery. She couldn't quite fit and her heart rate was dropping so the doctor had to attempt forceps, and after their attempt I now know why they are called 'force'ps. After having two doctors pull with all their might she still would not fit so it was time for an emergency c-section, which was executed by about 15 doctors in a very short amount of time. Little Kalyn finally came out and had a bit of left sided facial nerve palsy from all the compression but it has since resolved but she had to wear an eye patch and keep eye ointment on her eye to keep it moist for the first two days.
