Kalyn Playing with her new favorite whooby. We had to break down and go buy a piece of carpet to cover our stained cement floors now that she likes to try to scoot around, though she can't actually go anywhere yet - she's trying.

Our house is coming along. Should be done in August. This will be the view from the master bedroom. Kalyn will have all sorts of room to play once we move up to the lake. We are going to have to invest in stock for baby gates.

Hey, it's Lisa :)! Lisa and Radley came to visit last week on their way to the coast. They are officially the first of my college friends to get to see Kalyn :)!
Kalyn had a bit of a fever this weekend so she spent some extra time napping.
Look mom, new toys to play with! Kalyn is now enamored with her rattle type toys and is able to grab them with both hands and of course put them in her mouth.

Okay, so the hat is a bit on the goofy looking side but she's cute in just about anything - I'm biased as her mom. Kalyn really has taken to chewing or sucking on everything from her clothes to her fist to my shoulder or wrist.

Aaawww, just drinking out of her bottle. We are still breastfeeding but sometimes she gets it in a bottle.
Testing out our Johnny Jump Up....she's still a litle too young and little but we set it up anyway just to test out how long before she'll get to expend some of her energy jumping around in the doorway. I think she is going to love it.

She is growing up so fast. Looking at pictures of her from a month ago it's hard to believe how much she has changed. Her personality is starting to develop a little bit. Her crazy fuzzy hair is starting to show some signs of real hair growing. She is talking up a storm with us and if we put in a Baby Einstein DVD you'd think she was hosting it the way she talks so much. She loves anything colorful that moves.

1st Video attempt -- Bathtime :)

This is my first attempt at using our new video camera. It is a video of Kalyn taking a bath - one of her favorite activities. The middle video clip got a little foggy but at least now we know the camera works. Kalyn is growing and changing every day and has started to laugh now when Dad gives her a zerbert under her neck. It is about the cutest thing ever!
