Videos 9.5 Months

Kalyn loves to walk with her push toy. I fear she may start running right after she learns to walk on her own. She's getting close. She will stand and let go for a second or two before she lunges or plops down.

We went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas while Dan's older girls were in town for Christmas and they had a few rides that we were allowed to take Kalyn on. She wasn't quite sure what to think of her Teacup ride and had moments of excitement and apprehension.

Kalyn 9 Months

Crawling around after exploring under the tree. Amazingly enough no presents were unwrapped by Kalyn prior to Christmas. We had to remove most bows and tags to decrease the temptation to play with the colorful packages under the tree.














Hanging out at the fireplace. It's her favorite spot to eat woodchips and treebark. If only she would eat her food as readily as she puts other objects into her mouth.














Loving on Sasha who thankfully is very tolerable of Kalyn's pouncing. Kalyn's vocabulary consists of Kikky (Kitty), Dada, Mama, and Baba.














A little snack of crackers and juice.....yum yum. Kalyn loves to try to feed herself, which often means lots of snacks on the floor and in her lap :}.














Playing in the giant frog tent Grandma got Kalyn for Chrismas. It will be great to take to the lake as a sun shade this summer!














Chrismas morning! Kalyn just helped unwrap her favorite toy -- it's a push toy that she can stand up behind and walk. She goes and goes and goes until she runs into furniture or a wall. We need to work on the turning!

Tub time has become a sporting event now. Kalyn loves to crawl around, stand up, and splash around in the tub. No more just laying on her tub mat getting washed. Now it's much more fun :)!

Kalyn in Peoria, IL (8.5 months)

Killing time at the airport chewing on mom's water bottle, which can conveniently be brought through security in a diaper bag "for the baby". Kalyn did really well traveling from TX to IL with just Mom. She slept for most of the second flight which was great!

I was a little flower for Halloween. Too bad we never actually made it to the Halloween party we were headed too. Mom, Dad, and Kalyn were all to tired to make it past going out to dinner.

Just relaxing in the basement while Mom and Dad do some fix-up work on the house.

Hmm......Mom's toe is a little stinky to use as a chew toy.
