Bedrest Blogging

This is my first attempt at a blog, but I figured being stuck on 'bedrest' for the next six weeks will give me ample time to get a blog going before the little one is born. To fill everyone in who I have not had a chance to chat with yet, last week I was admitted to the hospital after what I thought was a bout of food poisoning but it turned out to be pre-term labor symptoms. I was kept in the hospital for 3 days and then released to go home on bedrest with bathroom priviledges -- not exactly what I ever expected since up until last week everything was going great with my pregnancy. Thankfully things have continued to go well over the past week and now I have been upgraded to 'modified bedrest' which means I can get up around the house and do short errands, but I have to lay down for 2-3 hours for every hour I am up and about. Dan was here last week which made bedrest tolerable, but he will be gone for the next two weeks as he finishes doing everything it will take to move from Las Vegas to San Antonio. I'm going to have to find ways to entertain myself and stay productive on the couch, hence the start of a blog that I will continue to keep people posted on our little one once she is born -- hopefully in about 6 weeks because right now I'm at 32 weeks. Well, that's the latest...
